Location of Campfire Flame Adjustment Valve

The campfire flame adjustment valves are located in one of two places: Either attached to the propane regulator or on the campfire itself.

Valves located next to the propane regulator are safer and much more convenient to use. Adjustments to the flame height and heat can be made from the comfort of your chair by having the propane tank positioned beside you. This is also a good location should you have to make an emergency adjustment quickly.

When valves are located on the campfire itself you have to get up and go over to the burning campfire to make any flame height adjustments. Extra caution is required when you are bending over to make these adjustments, as there is a natural tendency to lean over the flames. You should be very careful when adjustments are being made that long hair, scarves, or loose clothing do not swing into the campfire flames.
